NEET 10 days to go - Are you prepared?


Are you ready? There are only 10 days left for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) preparation which is held by the CBSE Board 2016 (Central Board of Secondary Education). The exam is slated on July 24.

In this exam there are 180 objective type multiple choice questions to be attempted with the time limit of 3 hours. This questions are based on three subjects - Biology (90 questions), Chemistry(45) and Physics  (45 questions).

All candidates must have to aware that the negative marking is applicable; a correct answer gain 4 marks, but a wrong answers deducts 1 mark.

What is NEET?

The NEET exam is held for admission in MBBS/BDS courses in Medical/Dental colleges which is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI)/Dental Council of India (DCI) under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (UMHFW), Government of India.

AIA and the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) Scholarship Program

The GAAS program was launched by several US trade associations to raise scholarship money to support deserving secondary students, college, and university students who want to pursue a career in the automotive aftermarket.

Young people like you, with bright minds and enthusiasm, are the future of the automotive aftermarket. To help launch your career, several automotive aftermarket associations established the Global Aftermarket Symposium Scholarship (GAASS) program in 1996. The program is funded from the net proceeds of the annual Global Automotive Symposium.

Selected candidates receive a $1,000 (Canadian) scholarship. While all students are encouraged to apply, priority in awarding scholarships will be given to those pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket. As a bonus, a matching grant is awarded to scholarship recipients who become technicians in the automotive aftermarket. You may claim your matching grant up to one year after graduation.


Qualified applicants must either be a graduating high school senior or have graduated from high school within the past two years.
Applicants must be enrolled in a college-level program, university or an accredited automotive program. Students must be enrolled full-time for the year of the scholarship. You must be enrolled for September of the year you are applying until April of the following year.
Priority will be given to those pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket.
Participants must be attending a full-time program in Canada. Graduate programs and undergraduate part-time programs do not qualify.
Employees of Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium associations and their family members are not eligible.
Previous GAAS Scholarship recipients are not eligible.

Submission Requirements:

It is imperative that all applications are properly completed as incomplete applications will not be processed.

Scholarship application along with your essay (at least 250 words in length, no longer than one page, double-spaced), indicating why you believe you deserve to be chosen to receive a scholarship.
If you are still attending high school or have graduated but not yet entered your post-secondary program, you must submit a high school transcript. NOTE: Transcripts without an official raised school seal will not be accepted.
If you are attending a post-secondary program, a copy of your current school transcript with official school seal. NOTE: Transcripts without an official raised school seal will not be accepted.
Letter of recommendation (from a non family member, preferably an employer, teacher or someone other than a family friend).

Andrea Hore Business


Awarded to a domestic undergraduate student who is enrolled in a course offered by the La Trobe Business School, Albury-Wodonga and has completed at least one full year (or equivalent) of study at that campus.

The successful student sected on the basis of the following:

1. The student has made a demonstrable and positive contribution towards sporting, cultural or community life, either within La Trobe University or within the Albury-Wodonga region. Applicants should provide a précis of their involvement in such activities.

2. The student has obtained a "B" grade or higher in at least six out of the first eight subjects attempted at La Trobe University at Albury-Wodonga campus.



Ms Andrea Hore, a part-time mature age student, graduated from the La Trobe University, Albury-Wodonga campus, with the Bachelor of Business (Enterprise Development) in March 1996. Andrea was tragically killed in the Bali Bombings in October 2002. In Andrea's memory, sufficient funds have been generated to establish a La Trobe University scholarship.The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis and will benefit students studying within the at the Albury-Wodonga campus.
